Triple Moisture Body Wash from Dial!

I was given the chance to try out one of Dial's Body Washes via a Coupon for a Free Bottle from Purex. I chose the Triple Moisture Body Wash and I couldn't be happier with my choice! My family has been using the body wash for about 2 weeks now and everyone can tell the difference between our new body wash and our old body wash! Our skin is super smooth and soft and the feeling of being clean couldn't be any stronger! The smell is wonderful as well!

The Body Wash has a mixture of 3 Butters including:

Shea Butter
Jojoba Butter &
Mango Butter

Even though I've never heard of Mango butter, I love the scent it adds to the body wash. The Mango adds a citrus scent to the already wonderful Shea Butter Scent which is relaxing and smells wonderful! My daughters use it during every bath and are excited that we have a soap that everyone can use instead of the perfumed soap that I don't allow my daughters use. We usually buy them their own kids soap and they're pretty happy with it unless I buy the Dial Body Wash and we all happily use the same soap! Summer Trips Across Seas!

One of the best parts of summer is the excitement and fun of spending time with family—this year, why not take an adventurous trip across the seas and spend time at one of these interesting summer festivals?

White Nights Festival- Do you love art, music, or theater? How about festivals in Russia? Why not do both and go to the White Nights Festival! This annual arts festival takes place in St. Petersburg, and the name—White Nights—is derived from the fact that the sun doesn’t set during the time of the festival (and the whole city is naturally lit up 24 hours a day). From late May until the end of July, enjoy theater performances, costumes and carnivals, fireworks, live shows, and even a pirate battle on a gigantic ship to cap it all off. This year, the White Nights Festival will take place between the May 24th until July28th.

Madrid Water Fight- In the second week of July, the people of Madrid prepare themselves for a gigantic party in the streets of Vallecas, where everyone is invited to join the fun. The best part? It’s a water fight! People take water balloons, water guns, and buckets full of water to splash each other. The 2013 celebration took place on July 16th, and crowds were estimated to be around 10,000 people!

Pflasterspektakel- This “pavement spectacle” is a street festival that takes place in Linz, Austria. Over 200,000 people gather to watch acrobats, plays, musical performances, magic tricks, and parades—there’s even a special segment just for kids. This year, it’ll run for three days on July 18,19, and 20.

Boryeong Mud Festival- Mud has traditionally been used in makeup products to purify and detox the skin. One beauty company took it a little further, however, and started the Boryeong Mud Festival. This celebration takes place in Daecheon Beach, South Korea, and has over 2.2 million people attending each year. The festival includes mud slides, mud wrestling, mud throwing, and even mud sculptures! After sunset, the beach comes alive with music, parades, and fireworks. This year, the festival runs from July 19 to July 28.

So whether its watching daring pirates battle it out in a “sea”-worthy battle or slinging mud at your closest friends, there’s plenty of things to do and see out there this summer!

Homemade Popsicle Recipes

Looking for a healthy way to cool down this Summer? Try one of these delicious Homemade Popsicle Recipes from eMeals and watch your kids beg for more!

Delicious Orange Banana Smoothie Pops

Ingredients:

1 container (7-ounce) Greek yogurt
2/3 cup thawed orange juice concentrate
2 bananas
1-tablespoon lime juice

Directions:

1. Puree one Greek yogurt, thawed orange juice concentrate, bananas, and lime juice in a blender.
2. Pour into your mold of choice. To release pops, dip molds into hot water until pops loosen and slide out. If using cups, peel away paper.

Simple Watermelon Pops

Ingredients:

4 cups watermelon, seeds removed, cubed

Directions:

1. Puree Watermelon in a blender.
2. Pour into your choice of mold and freeze until hardened.

Don't we all want our kids to be more responsible? I recently found a website that is made to help our children. It's called My Job Chart and I can't wait to see how my girls like it, after I get everything set up!! You get to add each child and parent to the chart and we as parents get an email when a task is completed. There is also an option to get a text message as well for those on-the-go parents! Each child can have their own password which will make it feel more personalized as well as a photo. (Of course parents can know their children's passwords, atleast I know I'll be knowing my daughters and step-son's) My fiance and I have been wanting to help our kids learn more about chores and helping out and I believe this may be just what we're looking for! I'll let you know what I think once we've been using it for a week or two! I can't wait until my fiance gets home so I can let him know what I found :) YAY! Maybe my daughters will start helping out more! (Even though they cleaned the whole refrigerator the other day - Out of the blue! I was one proud mommy... and glad that I didn't have to clean that thing cuz it wasn't pretty once a couple drinks get spilled and forgotten about!)

Slicing My Head for Supper!

I'm starting off my Summer Week with a bit of pain :( Sunday night while I was starting to get supper prepared, I sliced my forehead open with, what I consider as, a butcher knife! Yes you read right, my HEAD! All because my cutting board was stuck in my cabinet and I had the knife in my hand that was holding the cabinet open. There was a balloon behind the cabinet door so instead of moving the balloon and laying the knife down, I held it open and didn't pay attention to which way the knife was facing... big mistake! When the cutting board finally got unstuck - it come out quick and hit my hand that was holding the cabinet door open with... which made my hand bounce and well... the knife went straight to my head and at first I wasn't sure what happened! About 2 seconds later I realized what had happened and headed to the bathroom. My head wasn't hurting like I figured it would and I didn't feel any blood until I was halfway through my living room. After about 5 minutes of trying to get the blood to stop (and convincing my daughters that I was okay since they were sitting in the bathtub with horrified looks on their little faces) I finally got the blood to stop and that's when I started crying... not because it hurt due to me only feeling a faint sting but because I had come to realize just how exactly this accident had come about... I was may at myself for not being careful and sad about the slice that now lives on my forehead! My daughters have now decided that if they want chicken for supper - They will ask their daddy. Apparently I'm not able to cook for them, they don't think it's safe. Instead of finishing the supper that I was in the process of starting... I made Hamburger Helper instead. (No knifes required!) Every time that I pick up the knife that I got cut with, Loran backs up to the other side of the kitchen! I can't help but laugh now but last night there was no laughter coming out of this house, only horrified tears and concern. I am extremely unhappy about how this all happened and now I have to figure out how I'm going to put make-up on without getting my cut infected and/or making it burn! Not so perfect timing.... I've some new BB+ Cream to try out and I'm not sure how my video will turn out now that I have a slice down my forehead! I hope that my readers will vote for me anyways... maybe you all can ignore the big cut and vote because you like me and my BB+ Cream video..... Wish me luck, I'll have the video for you in the upcoming days... I may have to let it heal for a day or 2 before I can wear make-up again :( Such a sad way to begin my Summer Week Event at home!
