FREE Personalized Liquor Bottle Gift Labels

The rumors are true...
You can find just about anything on the internet!

I was looking around for some stocking stuffer ideas, for the kids and their daddy, when I ran across one of the coolest things that I've seen all week.... Liquor Bottle Gift Labels from the Liquor suppliers themselves! I know right?! Amazing! I'm easily amused so as soon as I saw them, I HAD to try them out. (I plan on making a few more real soon!!) Alan and I don't drink that often but we both have our favorite "grown-up" drinks and enjoy a glass or two every now and then. Or a shot or two in Alan's case. His favorite brands are Crown Royal and Hennesy, in that order, he likes 'em dark :) While I prefer taking the clear route... straight towards the Absolute, my only favorite. (I've been wanting to try Skinny Girl Vodka for a while now and maybe make it a new favorite.)

- OKAY -
Back to the labels...

The first brand that I ran across was Crown Royal and I instantly got excited! The price being $0.00 made them even cooler! THEY'RE FREE! You can have the labels say anything you want, which is pretty awesome if you ask me! The Crown Royal labels that you can personalize are the Original Crown Royal, Crown Royal Black and Crown Royal Reserve. (Crown Royal Maple Labels said to be available soon) Like I said, I couldn't help myself when I saw that I could personalize the Crown Labels, so I created Alan some Black Labels and can't wait until they show up!
Here's a picture of what the finished labels should look like:

How cool are they?

Since you can have just about anything printed on the labels*, they'd make great gift additions! You could go out and buy a bottle of crown and replace the original label with a personalized one, by simply covering the original with the new label. Print their name, your name, a special message, the possibilities are endless! Holiday labels, adult stocking stuffers, Why not??
You can even personalize a Crown Royal bag as well!! You know, the pretty bags that all Crown Bottles come in. The bags aren't free but for less than $10 you can have a whole Crown Royal set up that's personalized to your liking!

If your Canadian, don't worry, Visit CrownRoyal.ca to order yourself some FREE Crown Royal Labels too!
(Personalized bags are available in the USA only)

Below are the other brands that also offer FREE personalized bottle labels.
I'm still looking for more so I'll keep you updated!

Chivas Regal, Kahlua and The Glenlivet labels can all be found at YourGiftLabel.com
You will be walked through each step on the site, it's very simple to use.

Click where it say’s “create labels” at the top right.

Camarena Tequila Tipple Toolbox

When I was younger, I was quite the party girl, I went out every night, had more than my fair share of drinks and lost many memories that are sure to be interesting stories if they could be remembered.

Now that I'm an adult with kids of my own, I'm not interested in getting drunk for fun, it's not as fun as I remembered. But I do enjoy a small drink every now and then. Just something little to ease the day away, every once in a while.

A few nights ago, once all of our company started heading home, my fiance and I decided that we wanted a drink. Not 2 or 3 drinks... just one, kind of like a nightcap. Luckily enough I had recently received a Tequila Tool Box that was full everything we could possibly need to have a good time. That good time would have to wait for another night though, since we were not up for all of that commotion quite yet.

The Camarena Tequila Tipple Toolbox that I mentioned has almost everything that I could possibly ask for to create lots of mixed drinks. That's right.... My trusty little "toolbox" was full of goodies.... including a bottle of Camarena Tequila Silver. Among the other goodies I found a Citrus Squeezer, a Shaker, a Muddler as well as a Jigger.... All of those names were copied from the Cocktail Book that was also inside the box. I know the items as: A Lemon Squisher, A Martini Shaker, a Squisher Stick and a Double Sided Shot Glass :)

I had Alan make me a Skinny Tequini (without the Skinny), from the directions in the cocktail recipe book. I personally believe that he did a wonderful job! The drink had a very delicious and smooth taste to it and I could faintly taste the tequila without any hint of a burn. My fiance even took a shot of the tequila itself and said that it was very smooth to be tequila and the taste was "not bad at all" which in Alan's words... It was great! It looks like we found us a new drink to add to our list of enjoyments! My birthday is in less than a month and I still have plenty of tequila left, maybe that good time will happen sooner than I thought... We'll just have to wait and see!

Now you can have your own good time with the recipe for the Skinny Tequila. Let me know how you like it and if you kept the skinny or left it behind like my fiance and I.

Camarena Tequila Skinny Tequini

1 1/2 oz Camarena Silver Tequila
1/4 oz Creme de Cassis
1 oz Light Apple Juice (We used regular Apple Juice)
1/2 oz Light Cranberry Juice (Of course we use regular here as well)
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
Lemon Wheel Garnish (We left out the garnish since we had no need to be fancy)

Directions:
Combine liquids in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. If you would like, Garnish with a lemon wheel. The Light Tequini will be 104 calories... I have no clue what our was since we didn't count calories.

Since I'm a mother and I've seen first hand, what can happen when someone abuses alcohol, I wanted to make sure that I ask for you all to be safe when you drink. Don't get behind the wheel of a vehicle if you have had ANY alcohol to drink. One drink is too much if you have to drive home!! I would also like to add that drinking has it's limits and once a person passes that line, bad things can happen. Anger can flair, your memory can leave you and that's only the beginning. People can get hurt and that's the last thing someone wants to think about when they're sobering up and realize what happened when they was under the influence of too much alcohol.
