Don't eat all of those Halloween treats before the kids come knocking!

Trick or Treaters

Try out these 3 simple tricks and see how they work for you:

1 - Don't purchase big variety packs of candy. The mixed bags tempt you to start trying all of the different flavors. Play it safe and stick to one type of candy.

2 - Put the candy into a bowl that has a lid. Keeping the snacks out of reach and sight helps stop your brain's urge to make you grab that yummy sugar filled candy and start chowing down.

3 - Donate leftover candy to the troops! Each year, a nonprofit organization called Operation Gratitude delivers surplus candy to the troops overseas! Visit OperationGratitude.com for more information.

I'm going to try my best to use these little tricks and see if they help me keep my hands out of the candy jar.

Do you know any tricks for keeping your hands free from getting sticky?
