The Heavenly Scents of TLC Soy Tart Melts - My Review

#Sponsored By TLC Soy Candles

When it comes to Soy Candles and Wax Melts, it's hard to find one that actually lasts. I've always been a candle person and the scents only last a few minutes after the candle gets blown out.

I ran across that awesome little company that sales Soy Wax Candles and Melts called 'TLC Homemade Candles'.
I got the opportunity to try out some of her scents and I was super excited! I had never used melts before but had planned on getting me some in the future so when I got the chance to choose a candle or melts... I chose Tart Melts.

Not long after I sent in my selections, my melts arrived! I couldn't wait to try them out. Only one problem, I hadn't went to my moms to get my warmer yet....

After much thought, I came up with an awesome way to try out my melts before I got warmer!

I used my stove and a tiny cast iron frying pan with a baby food jar!!

The 2 scents that I chose were Midnight Cove and Mango Peach Salsa!
My fiance is crazy for anything Mango so that one was for him (he's not much into flowery scents but he didn't complain one bit about any of the scents he has been smelling lately!)

When I opened my package I was surprised to see that I had 2 extra little samples of her Wax Melts!! The extra scents were Tahitian Orchid and Pineapple.

The Tahitian Orchid caught my eye and I had to try it out first!

So I broke the disk in half and dropped a piece in my jar.
Even though I had it on the stove and not in a normal warmer, them smell was wonderful and it lasted for hours! My daughters kept coming in the room and saying that they smelt something pretty!

A few days I'd still not gotten that warmer from my mom or went to the store to get another one.
It was my fiance's birthday so I figured - What better day to try out the melt I got for him, then do it on his birthday?!

The Mango Peach Salsa did not disappoint!
My fiance and I loved the scent and we got lots of compliments when company came over for supper.

The Midnight Cove reminded me of a flowery beach. I have always been a big fan of any scents that are named Midnight and this melt was no different.

While trying out my new melts I was lucky enough to win a giveaway and received another Tart Melt in a different scent! I was SUPER EXCITED!!!!

When my package arrived, I was happy to see that my new scent was Plumeria!

I love the products that you can buy at Bath and Body Works that are Plumeria so I was very excited to try out this one!

The scent is wonderful! I'm happy to say that I no longer use my stove for my melts :-)
I have a pretty little tea-light warmer that works great!

I haven't tried out the Pineapple Scent yet but I'm sure it smells just as wonderful!
All the scents lasted a while and I couldn't be happier!

  1. I never thought of using my stove top like that for the tart melts! I love making our house smell good!

  2. I love that you were able to come up with an alternative to try the melts when you didn't have your burner.

I absolutely love mango pineapple salsa (from Wholly Salsa), so I can only imagine how much I would love the melt!
