DIY Yarn Bracelets

Did you know you can make stylish little bracelets out of a toilet paper roll, yarn and duck tape?

It's really simple and great for Pre-Teen and Teen kids! The younger kiddo's can make them too but it might be easier for them to do this same technique on a pencil.

All you need is

Toilet Paper Roll
Yarn
Duck Tape

Directions

Start by cutting the cardboard tube length wise

Place the tube on your wrist and mark off how wide you want the bracelet to be.

Remove tube from your arm and cut the tube to that width.

Cover the inside of the tube with duck tape. This will help keep the bracelet's shape.

Tape a small piece of yarn (About 2 1/2 inches) to the back of each end of your bracelet.
This will be how you tie the bracelet on your arm.

Tape another piece of yarn going in the other direction and star wrapping it around the cardboard

You can switch colors through out the bracelet just make sure you leave a tail when you cut the string. Wrap the tails once you start your next color.
Once you get to the other end, Weave your string ends through the back of the bracelet to secure it.

Your Bracelet is complete!!

You can use this same technique on headbands, picture frame and pencils too!
